Abducted Enyimba FC Player, Colleague Regain Freedom After Kidnap In Ondo



Abductors of Dayo Ojo, a participant with Enyimba Soccer Membership of Aba, and  Benjamin Iluyomade of Abia Comets, have demanded a ransom of N20m to set them free.  

The 2 footballers have been kidnapped on Sunday night round Ipele Village on Benin-Owo Street in Ondo State.

SaharaReporters gathered that the duo have been travelling from Abia State once they have been kidnapped.  










A household supply, who spoke on Monday, stated the abductors reached out on Sunday evening to first ask for N100m to free the gamers. 

“The household needed to plead with them (kidnappers) that they cannot afford such quantity. 

“However at present (Monday) they reached out once more and decreased the cash to N20m, we’re nonetheless begging them to cut back the cash,” the household supply stated.

Spokesperson for the police in Ondo, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, stated they have been on the path of the abductors. 

Ikoro disclosed that some travellers kidnapped alongside the 2 footballer had already been rescued.
